Community guidelines

Vibe Detector is a crowdsourced signal of software quality — bugs, broken UX, and “vibe-code slop.” It is not a verdict about any company. Rankings reflect what people are reporting right now, weighted by severity and recency.

What makes a good report

  • Describe a specific, reproducible problem you actually hit.
  • Attach evidence (a screenshot or short screen recording) when you can.
  • Link the exact page or feature when relevant.
  • Check the suggested matches shown while you type — if your issue is already reported, confirm that report instead of filing a duplicate. Confirmations count for more than duplicates.

What doesn’t belong

  • Personal attacks, harassment, or doxxing.
  • Spam, ads, or coordinated brigading to tank a company.
  • Confidential data, credentials, or anyone’s personal info.
  • Illegal content or anything you don’t have the right to share.

Moderation

Reports are public only after they clear moderation. We rate-limit submissions and screen uploads to curb abuse. Content that breaks these guidelines is removed, and repeat abuse may be blocked.

Fixed issues and resolved companies

Anyone can mark a report as fixed. Once two different people confirm it, the report is labelled Fixed. When a company has more than five reports in the last four weeks and over 80% of them are confirmed fixed, it’s shown as Resolved — credit where it’s due for shipping fixes.

Are you the company?

If you believe a report is inaccurate or violates these guidelines, you can request a review — see Security & contact.
