Privacy policy

Vibe Detector is built to be used anonymously. You do not need an account to browse, report, or vote.

What we collect

• Report content you submit: the company, description, severity, optional URL, and any evidence you upload.
• An anonymized reporter fingerprint — a one-way hash of your IP address and user agent, used only for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We do not store your raw IP address.
• Vote state for workarounds is kept in your browser (localStorage) — it never identifies you to us.

What we don’t do

• No accounts, no login, no advertising trackers.
• We don’t sell personal data — we don’t collect it to begin with.

Evidence uploads

Screenshots and videos you attach are stored to support the report and are shown publicly alongside it. Don’t upload anything private or that you don’t have the right to share.
